A hollow chamber whose dimensions allow the resonant oscillation of electromagnetic or acoustic waves. Synonyms: cavity resonator, resonating chamber.

An electrical circuit that combines capacitance and inductance in such a way that a periodic electric oscillation will reach maximum amplitude. Synonym: resonant circuit.
