Any plant of the genus Gloriosa of tropical Africa and Asia; a perennial herb climbing by means of tendrils at leaf tips having showy yellow to red or purple flowers; all parts are poisonous. Synonyms: creeping lily, gloriosa, Gloriosa superba, glory lily.
