Any plant of the genus Gloriosa of tropical Africa and Asia; a perennial herb climbing by means of tendrils at leaf tips having showy yellow to red or purple flowers; all parts are poisonous. Synonyms: climbing lily, creeping lily, gloriosa, glory lily.
